I was reading yesterday about the difference between purpose and assignments. Sometimes we don’t want to do several things or go through several seasons/process because we think “that’s not my purpose” but those assignments prepares you for your purpose. It builds character and gives you experience. One of my biggest breakthroughs in women’s ministry was my profession in the beauty industry… I was able to reach out in different ways and create conversation.

“Usa lo que tienes” Meaning "use what you have/got" has becomes one of my favorite quotes. God can use anything you know or have for his glory.

I started this journey with some certifications as a makeup artist. One of my trainings was in Las Vegas with Buntricia,

I remember like if it was yesterday when I was on my knees crying in that gorgeous hotel saying “Lord I just want to serve you, I want to preach your word to the nations. This doesn’t look like what you call me to do… am I really doing what you want or what my family wants? What society expects from me? God I only ask… keep me close to your presence. I don’t want to loose myself here. How can a makeup artist serve you?

Holy Spirit hugged me and said: pick up that makeup brush. (I did) and He said, I will show you what I can do with this brush, trust me.

I had no idea what He meant at the moment. At the end of those intensive 3 days of trainings/workshops I was able to tell people around me about my testimony. People who would never go to church were listening about JESUS.

They would never go to church not only because they don’t believe, some are hurt and others work on weekends. Let’s be honest! Beauty salons gain more on weekends! After many other trainings and beauty conventions I went to Bellus Academy from Poway after that I finish at California Advanced Esthetics.

Trust and believe I have plenty of testimonies from that season about life, being consistent and about Jesus.

I hope this encourage someone today! This is one from many assignments that I still have to give my big YES & AMEN to God. I’m currently in another one but I’ll tell you about that one later, when we finish. (WE meaning God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, our team and me) This life is way better when we trust Gods voice/will. Proverbs 16:3

• What’s my purpose?
